ARTIST STATEMENT
In my work, I explore the boundaries between the natural and the artificial.
I am interested in the moment when intervention becomes irreversible, when silence becomes a warning.
I build installations as open systems.
Space responds.
Sound moves.
Light reveals.
The viewer is not merely an observer.
Their presence alters the balance.
Their movement reshapes the composition.
I work with multichannel sound, contact microphones, projections, and minimal materials.
I reveal the vibrations of wood, stone, metal, and water.
I am interested in what a space conceals before we enter it.
My Approach
I treat space as an organism.
Sound as a trace of its breathing.
Material as a carrier of time.
I do not build spectacle.
I create conditions for perception.
Minimalism is not an aesthetic choice.
It is an ethical position.
Biography
I am an intermedia artist working in the field of spatial and sound installations.
My work is based on exploring the relationship between humans, nature, and technological systems. I develop projects that connect ecology, industrial heritage, and interactive approaches to art.
I collaborate with both national and international partners and develop projects in public space as well as gallery environments. I am particularly interested in questions related to water, forest ecosystems, and the regeneration of degraded spaces.
I live and work in Slovenia.
